This Bruny Island Accommodation holiday house/cottage is a real Retreat away from it all & is fully self-contained with a kitchen that has every thing for the chief inside you, including condiments ,tea instant coffee and also ground coffee for the peculator or plunger which ever you prefer coffee,sugar,milo,hot chocolate,herbs and spices  and much more all your plates cutlery and cooking utensils & baking needs wine glasses and a wine cooler to keep your bottles in while dinning at the  large dinning setting all of these rooms have postcard water & mountain views so no matter if your cooking washing up having a meal or just sitting back in the lounge room and of course our glass enclosed deck you have this picture perfect out look,  The 2 bedrooms main with queen bed 32 inch plasma tv built ins bed side tables alarm clock and electric blanket. The other bedroom has 2 double bunks with tv electric blankets,built ins and chest of draws all linen and dooners supplied a laundry, fully  a covered BBQ area.

 

There is enough parking for a couple of cars and a boat and a couple of kayaks.the property has a fully fenced front and back yard safe for the kiddies and pets to play & run around in.

Pennicott wins top honour

POPULAR cruise operator and conservationist Robert Pennicott was last night named Tasmanian Australian of the Year at a ceremony at Cambridge.

The 46-year-old was awarded the state’s top honour for his achievement running his world-renowned wilderness adventure business, and also his passion and commitment to giving back to the community and the environment.

Mr Pennicott said having earned such a prestigious honour from his fellow Tasmanians was a “bit of a shock”.

He also founded the Tasmanian Coast Conservation Fund as well as the Pennicott Foundation and recently did a circumnavigation of Australia that raised about $300,000 for the eradication of polio.
